Cyclic peptide

Cyclic peptides enhance the conformational stability of peptides (as opposed to their linear analogues) and are a common strategy in peptide development. Cyclic peptides have been shown to have several applications: to mimic the secondary structure of proteins (e.g., peptide cycling), to optimize peptides (e.g., peptide ligands with increased binding potency/selectivity and enhanced protease stability).

· Backbone cyclization of caudamide ring
· lactam type cyclic peptide
· Non-classical cyclic peptides -- ester ring, thioester ring, etc
